Just wanted to say thank you to the engineer who was on-site with me this yesterday morning, he was very helpful and I wouldn’t have been able to clear and remove the saniflo without his help, thank you.
Could I just pass on my praise for the way that Metro Rod carried out the job at Mayflower Halls yesterday.
As you are aware Confined Space entry and cleaning is an area in which I have some knowledge and I can honestly say that I feel the professionalism which Rich and his team displayed was absolutely top class.
The team were all well briefed and RAMS were correct, the equipment they were using was of good quality and they carried out the work methodically, safely and diligently.
I would certainly have no qualms in working with this great team again.
We had a toilet blockage at our two bed with that being the only toilet. This was fairly stressful as my wife is 7 months pregnant.
I called up Metro Rod Southampton and was met by a really kind and empathetic member of staff (sorry forget her name!). Within a couple of hours, Tom came and sorted us out.
He was very polite, friendly, professional with loads of chat! What was really good was the fact Tom talked me through everything and showed me the issues and fixes. Not being from the area I was nervous about getting someone in, but Tom's manner really made me feel at ease. The best thing is I can use the toilet again, I feel a huge weight lifted off.......
The customer was very pleased with Luke Andrews the engineer today and would like to pass the compliment on. He said he was polite and courteous, very happy with the service received.
Metro Rod arrived and set to work, I was very impressed with the technician Tom, he was professional and carried out his work diligently explaining what he was doing at each step. If this is the standard of their technicians I can see why they are council service providers. Tom surveyed both pipes, the first from the toilet outlet to the first manhole and the pipe from the first manhole to the second manhole.
He explained that root ingress was the problem and it needed to be removed and the pipes resin lined. You will no doubt see the full report shortly.
I know it is only an allotment toilet that we all use but to meet such committed people with such customer care was heartwarming!!
I would like to point out how friendly and professional your staff in attendance were yesterday.
Nathan came out this morning to unblock our drains and he was very polite and professional! The work was carried out quickly but very thorough! Would defo recommend using Metro Rod!
Just wanted to pass on how great your colleague Jamie was. He was professional, thorough, nice and prompt! He went above and beyond to help fix our blockage- and did not give up until he cleared it!
He also cleaned up! Definitely would recommend metro rod and especially Jamie!
