Bedfordshire Police Estates Department often need the specialist services that Metro Rod provides, to attend drainage and plumbing issues at properties throughout the county.

We are very pleased with the service provided by the team lead by Ashley and Tracy.

From the point of initial call to the engineers on-site all staff are friendly, courteous and highly committed to dealing with any problems encountered which can include a basic blocked sink, full descale of urinals to servicing of large administration facilities.

The fact that all Metro Rod staff have been CRB / DBS checked prior to employment and carry Identification Cards at all times really helps in authorising access to our properties especially in the higher security areas.

Happy Swansea

Earlier this week our engineers headed out to Swansea as we had a call from a domestic client asking us to attend there property as the drains were blocked and over flowing.

When the engineers arrived on the property they couldn't believe how much water was on the domestic drive! They began by High Pressure Water Jetting the man hole and Mechanically Clean it. After two hours of hard work the blockage was removed and water was slowly draining away. Full flow resort and cleaned the area. The Client was so happy she made the engineers a cup of tea and gave them biscuits for the van.

Mumbles Over Flow

21st December 2016 - in Carmarthen, Neath, Pembroke, Swansea

We had a recent call out to Mumbles after receiving a call from a domestic customer about the Upstairs Toilet over flowing and the drain at the side of the property was over flowing.

Engineers arrived on site and started to High Pressure Water Jet the drain and also Mechanically Clean the Toilet. Not long after the Toilet flow was restored and the drain was unblocked. The engineers put the Drainage CCTV Camera in the drain to make sure nothing else would have caused the blockage. The cleaned and disinfected the toilet and surround area of the drain just before leaving.

Sparkling Swansea

21st December 2016 - in Carmarthen, Neath, Pembroke, Swansea

Two of our engineers were called to a property in Swansea as the gutters were looking dirty and full with debris.

The engineers used the Metro Vac to clean the gutters and it can be done from the ground floor.

After two hours all the gutters were sparkling clean like new, leaving the customer very happy!
