Mid Lancs have just signed to support the Wigan Warriors again, this will be their 5th year of supporting and sponsoring. Our directors attended a start of season dinner last week where they met and gave the players their shirts. This year we will be sponsoring Liam Marshall who is a new sponsor for us, we are looking forward to seeing him play and getting to know him. We also continue to sponsor Nathan Wilde, we are excited to see him grow again following him being named under 19 player of the year last year. Wigan Warriors Rugby League Football Club is one of the most famous and successful sports club’s in the world. The club has grown from humble beginnings into one of the giants of British sport.
Throughout the 5 years of sponsoring and being involved in Wigan Warriors we have enjoyed watching the team grow and supporting them at matches and events. Being a sponsor means lots of exciting opportunities for Metro Rod too, being able to chose man of the match on selected matches and having players attend charity events we organise.
We have been lucky to meet and spend time with other like minded local businesses like Uncle Joes Mint Balls and Morris Quality Bakers who we have worked with and built relationships up with.
