What is your job role at Metro Rod West Yorkshire?
"Picking up everyone’s slack… only joking – we work great as a team. My job role is Technical Surveyor. It is my job to quality check the CCTV surveys ensuring that they go out at an OS19x standard which is a recognised qualification within the drainage industry for pipe sewer inspections."
CCTV Surveys accurately diagnose any hidden issues with your drains. If you're suffering from reoccurring blocked drains, CCTV Surveys would be able to locate the blockage and show us what we're working with. Our CCTV surveys video data is collected straight from the drain survey site, streamed live in real-time, directly to our office for processing.
If your colleagues could describe you in three words, what would they be?
"Giddy, annoying but helpful."
What is the most rewarding part of your job at Metro Rod West Yorkshire?
"Payday. Just kidding, again! The most rewarding part would be being able to provide customers with a sense of relief when providing and explaining CCTV surveys. It's the best feeling – allowing them to go ahead with their planning of further works on their home for example with no underlying issues found."
If you're planning to extend your property or purchase a new one, it is very important that you give the whole property a check over, including the drainage system! A blocked drain or fractured pipe isn't something you will find on a viewing. The usual surveys you pay for before purchasing a property will most likely not identify a drainage issue so if you've never had CCTV Surveys, you won't know if your drainage system is up to approved standards for an extension.
What did you do before joining the Metro Rod West Yorkshire team?
"Before Metro Rod West Yorkshire, I worked as a Bistro Waiter at an award-winning spa. Sometimes personally waiting on celebrities! I’d tell you who but it’s top secret. Drainage is a very different area of work however customer care is exactly the same – always aim to do the best for our customers."
Oooooo no! Jordan, you can't leave us hanging like that - who've you waited on?!
