Metro Rod Guildford is pleased to announce two new Managing Directors – Graeme Tulloch and Philip Cotton, joining the leading provider of drainage and plumbing services.
Having overtook the business recently, they have extensive experience working in FMCG in South Africa over a number of years. They have both gathered knowledge and experience that they are looking forward to bringing to their new roles and the drainage industry. Although it will be business as usual for commercial and domestic customers there will look to make the Metro Rod services even more efficient and robust through improving operations with a focus on sales and marketing for growth.
They have joined the Metro Rod family (a part of Franchise Brands Group), at one of the busiest times of the year, as businesses prepare for Christmas and New Year and of course, the dramatic change in weather, as rainfall increases throughout the country, temperatures drop and likelihood of snow increases. There is no doubt that Graeme and Philip have both thrown themselves in the deep end here, but they are looking forward to it, as Graeme explains below:
“We are really excited to become a part of the Metro Rod franchise network. There are many exciting plans for the future and ever since Franchise Brands have taken over, we have seen this company go from strength to strength and believe this will only continue in the future. This was a no brainer for us, as the support we are given by Metro Rod is outstanding. As new business owners we will no doubt make mistakes but having Metro Rod behind us gives us the confidence to continue learning and pushing the business in the right way.”
We are looking forward to the new shake up in management and forever looking to improve and define our services to suit customer needs. As always throughout the winter months there is a particular focus on tackling our ever-growing and evolving climate issues. Abnormal and extreme weather patterns call for vigilance in the drainage industry and Graeme and Philip are most certainly up to the task.
As the months become colder and wetter we face the risk of flooding and natural components blocking our drains and preventing our drainage systems from operating smoothly. As specialists in drainage Metro Rod are always looking for new ways to keeping drains clear and operating smoothly. To unblock drains we use ‘high pressured water cleaners’ and ‘tankers’ to safely remove any drains blockages. Our highly skilled engineers are trained to be able to solve any drainage issue you may experience. Metro Rod specialise in unblocking drains and at this time of year we look at prevention through pre-planned maintenance, drain repair, clearing drains, gutter cleaning and more.
Metro Rod Guildford offer services across Guildford and surrounding areas. Dealing with blocked drains, drain repair, CCTV surveys and septic tank maintenance. We believe in simple things and make sure we follow them through; available 24/7, professional, value for money service during and after the job and peace of mind in the fact that all our engineers are highly trained, DBS checked and fully insured.
