Metro Rod Liverpool look after drains - and we like to think that we do it pretty well!
Metro Rod pride ourselves on providing a fast and honest response to any drain problems, day or night. The shining 5 star reviews that we have on Google are a testament to this. Some of the stand out words that have been used to describe Metro Rod Liverpool's services are "Quick", "friendly", "wonderful" and "Highly recommended" - we really love this!
Another thing that we are proud of is the fact that so many of our local letting agents and housing associations choose to use Metro Rod Liverpool for their day to day (or indeed night to night!) drainage problems. Be it a blocked drain in Bootle, overflowing gully in Gateacre, smelly shower in Southport or obstructions in the drain in Ormskirk these companies know that if they need us we are there for them, whenever the problem may occur.
Housing associations in the UK are much more widespread than you may imagine...
According to Equity there are 4.1 million people living in social housing in England and Wales, with The Guardian reporting that well over 1 million people are currently on waiting lists for a Social Housing place. This sector is a really important one to us here at Metro Rod and one that is imperative that we get right - and we feel that we do!
In our local area there are many housing associations, some on a smaller scale that have a couple of hundred houses and some really large ones, with over 15,000 houses in their stock and we are proud that we here at Metro Rod Liverpool work for the vast majority of them! The challenge that this could potentially raise is that a lot of these customers are vulnerable, they may have young children in the house, they may have disabilities, they may have just the one toilet in their house and so these customers demand a fast response to any drain problems, day or night. Luckily for them, Metro Rod operate, genuinely, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and we aim to be on site within just 2 hours of the call being logged, both day and night. We fully understand that blocked drains, blocked or broken toilets, slow draining facilities and so on can be distressing and inconvenient to tenants and so we ensure that we fully explain what we are doing/have done to both the tenant and to the Housing Association, providing photographic evidence where possible. Working for such a wide variety of customers we truly have seen it all but our engineers are discrete and always leave our working areas in a clean and tidy condition - no matter what they were like on our arrival!
Jenny Schofield, Business Development Manager at Metro Rod Liverpool, said
"When we get a call from one of our Housing Association customers we respond quickly. We contact the tenant to get a little bit more information about the problem and to arrange a convenient time for us to attend and then report this back to the Housing Association straight away. We do this so that they know the problem is in hand and they no longer have to worry about it. Our engineers arrive quickly; fully uniformed and trained, as soon as is convenient for the tenant and we get to work immediately, explaining the problem to the tenant where possible and providing advice on what to do in the future to prevent the problem reoccurring. Once we have left site we report back to the Housing Association that we have completed the job along with our recommendations and findings."
She added "Our customers need not worry, we would never make any of them feel embarrassed about anything that we have seen or found on site, that's not our job - our job is to fix drain problems in a fast efficient manner - which we do!"
