All our engineers are fully trained, DBS checked and fully insured. They aim to give you the highest level of service, from basic services such as blocked toilets and manholes, to the more technical side, such as drain rehabilitation and detailed CCTV drain surveys.

Our process may look like:

1. Booking a CCTV Drain Survey to find the cause of a blocked drain.
2. Assessing the level of damage and the type of repair required.
3. Bringing in the right equipment such as a Tanker to Jet Clean an area of pipe that has not been maintained.
4. Once the drains are cleaned of debris, wastewater may need to be vacuumed via Tank and Pump services.
5. The drain itself can then be repaired such as with relining or in-depth repairs with access to a manhole.

Clive Newport, who owns the business, has been in the construction and drainage industry for over 40 years and will always try to find the most cost efficient solution to your drainage issue. We will ask questions when you call us that will help us to understand exactly what you need. If you ask for a CCTV survey we will check if you need a full DVD, computer generated report and summary sheet or whether a “look-see” would be adequate for what you need to know, thus saving you money.

Metro Rod Bristol were contacted by Location One, a TV & Film equipment hire company, to install an underground combined waste water grease trap and debris trap. Tony Chorley, an engineer for Metro Rod Bristol, was assigned the job; and even though he had never completed work like this before, he was keen to help the customer and to expand his skillset simultaneously. Tony and another engineer spent 8 days fitting the traps, to ensure Location One had all the drainage solutions implemented that they needed.
